Both men and women were created equally in the image of God with the same moral and spiritual makeup, possessing the same rights to God's grace, provision, blessing, and promises.

Both men and women have the same standing in justification, follow the same process in sanctification, possess the same hope, and participate in the  same priestly ministry.

 

However, there is a distinction between male and female in the sight of God. The distinction is in relationship to headship.

It is for this reason that our elders are male.
